Managing relationships with some of the UK’s wealthiest individuals in the elite world of hedge funds, Louisa Cox, founder of Shopping Mistress, realised that business was all about the level of personal service provided and the difference that a more bespoke offering can make. Sensing a gap in the market to help those too busy to spend their disposable income, Louisa decided to launch a business in an area of her personal passion – shopping. This soon expanded to incorporate gift lists for weddings and other occasions.

The premise of Shopping Mistress is to offer exceptional service to every client and to provide a flexible, bespoke approach by maintaining a niche position. We do not want to be the next multinational conglomerate. The vision is to be a specialist business in the area of bespoke wedding and gift lists and individual shopping mandates. With the view that anything is possible, Shopping Mistress aims to offer something different to its clients.
